Collection of Sculptures, Objects and Installations

The MSUV collection of sculptures, objects and installations was formed in 2005 and includes artists from Vojvodina and Serbia, as well as from the former Yugoslavia and the region. The works of art kept in the Collection cover the period from the end of the sixties of the 20th to the first decades of the 21st century, reflecting the historical and artistic development of sculpture within the framework of modernist, neoconceptual and postmodernist tendencies. The formation of the Art Collection of the Gallery of Contemporary Fine Art, immediately after its foundation in 1966, began with the purchase of exactly one sculpture. It is the work of Nikola Antov, "Mask" from 1966-67, which bears inventory no. 1
