The exhibition „Time Consumes All Views – A Selection from the Painting Collection of the Museum of Contemporary Art of Vojvodina" features over one hundred works dating from the 1940s to the present day. Spatially conceived as a kind of storage or depot, the exhibition primarily showcases works by artists from Vojvodina, created in a variety of media, styles and techniques, ranging from oil on canvas to painterly objects. The exhibition traces and presents the developments within the collection, with the most represented works coming from the 1960s, 70s, and 80s, while also including pieces from the 1990s and early 2000s.

The title of the exhibition alludes to the communication between the past and the present. "Time Consumes All Views" illustratively represents the interconnectedness of the terms past, present, and future, which are inseparable from museum collections that encapsulate the multi-temporal dimension of preserving the past and the present for the future. Each time that the works from the collection are presented to the public, the historical circumstances, social structures, and artistic tastes of that moment color the interpretation of the pieces, so that, colloquially speaking, the "view" of the previous moment is "consumed." Keeping this in mind, the modern and contemporary art presented in the collection has the purpose of strengthening the viewer's sense of the present as a time of observation, thus placing the emphasis in the title on the word view. By revitalizing museum processes through conservation and various programs, as well as the labyrinthine structure of the display that predisposes the movement of visitors, the exhibition encourages active viewing as a practice and it draws on Walter Benjamin's proposition about the image of the past, which threatens to disappear with every present that fails to recognize itself within it.

The exhibition is not intended to provide an absolute chronological overview of Vojvodina's painting within the collection. In addition to the paintings, it also features posters of previous exhibitions at the Museum of Contemporary Art of Vojvodina, as well as various museum procedures necessary for research, preservation, and display of its works. In the absence of a permanent display, this exhibition represents a starting point for exploring the museum's collection, a process of dialogue with the public and recognition. For this reason, its architecture follows a de-hierarchized form of a depot.
