The author of the monogrph (the Constructor of the Texts) Slavko Bogdanovic was one of the participants of the avantguard art scene of Novi Sad, in one for the culture of Novi Sad very specific moment, at the end of the 1960s and the beginning of the 1979s. He was the member of the conceptual art Group KÔD and the collaborate of the students review INDEKS and the Tribina mladih at Novi Sad. Activity of avantguard art groups, which at the beginning of the 1970s were participants of the European and world art scene, with no doubt is a part of the cultural corpus that confirms the relevance of Novi Sad—Újvidek—Neusatz—Neoplantus as an European Capital of Culture.
Besides an comprehensive introductory study written by Dr. Svetlana Rajicic Peric, the monograph, contains all artistic work of Slavko Bogdanovic and as of now still unpublished documents from the period of Novi Sad’s conceptualism (1970–1972), and authors works originated later, until the completion of the monograph (2018), including a textual construct titled INTER VIVOS and the text AN ART-RELATED TIME LINE.
The monograph is one of those publications that provide an authentic authors contribuution to a better and more accurate insight and understanding of specific (and still not completely investigated) aspects, circumstances and the context in which the avantguard art practice of 1970s in Novi Sad, Vojvodina and Socialistic Federal Republic of Yugoslavia originated and developed.
